Abstract

As part the Mangrove Creek Dam Salvage Project and research, a number of Aboriginal sites were excavated in the Upper Mangrove Creek catchment on the New South Wales central coast. Radiocarbon ages for Emu Tracks 2, Kangaroo and Echidna, and Two Moths indicate the shelters were first used in the 4th, 7th and 2nd millennia BP respectively.
