What's in the Box - Tathra Public school

Tathra Public school is about 30min south of Bermagui. They also had one of the Catchment: Water for Living boxes, so showed the student how to set up the 1.5m long model and discussed the features.

The student pointed out the good and bad environmental practices and how these would affect the environmental and the local water ways. Several of the students are participating in the Bermagui Bioblitz so we also discussed different collection methods.

After a great visit to the school I journey 15 minutes down to the Bournda Environmental Education centre to see the Museum in a Boxes they had on site. I had sent the Insects and Freshwater boxes to the centre so they could use the collecting equipment for the Bioblitz. It's great to hear feedback about how the boxes are used in different sites.
